Stalin’s Bunker

Do you want to go down to the real and legendary bunker in the center of the capital? The one that was intended for the top officials of the USSR?

Do you want to walk through the whole underground city under the Moskva River and metro lines, hidden at a depth of 65 meters behind a lot of massive hermitages?

“Stalin’s Bunker” is the most complete tour of our Cold War Museum “Bunker 42 on Taganka”.

During the program, you will be able to:

• look into the farthest and most hidden tunnels of the bunker;
• find out how the bunker is built from the inside and what maximum nuclear attack it can withstand;
• to get acquainted with the equipment of classified communications;
• visit Stalin’s office;
• to see the model of the first Soviet TU-4 bomber and the unique life-size replica of the RDS-1 atomic bomb;

The program includes interactive elements and unexpected special effects.

Most of the exhibits can be interacted with and photographed.

Tickets can be purchased at the museum ticket office 10 minutes before the start of the tour. The tour is held daily at 3 pm and at 7 pm.
