Let’s Go!

On an early morning of April 12th 1961, a massive carrier rocket launches “Vostok 1” into Earth’s orbit with Yuri Gagarin on a board. Little-known fact that “Vostok 1”, the one that won the space race, is actually a sublet of the ballistic 7-R family of rockets.

You can see the prototype of this famous rocket in the Museum of Cold War “Bunker 42”, as well as, learn its importance in establishing USSR’s SMT*
