The Cold War

Are you interested in the subject of the Cold War, but have you not been to our museum yet?

We suggest correcting this and visiting the real strategic facility “Bunker-42 on Taganka”, built 70 years ago on the personal instructions of I.V. Stalin.

The program “The Cold War” provides the opportunity to:

  • descend to a depth of 65 meters and walk through the tunnels of a historically significant object;
  • get acquainted with the history of rocket science and see a life-size model of the first Soviet atomic bomb RDS-1;
  • find out new, unrevealed details about the arms race between the countries;
  • to see the unique computing technology that has become a breakthrough of its time;
  • visit Stalin’s office and the meeting room of the country’s high command;
  • become an “eyewitness” to the launch of an intercontinental missile and experience a real combat alert;

Interactive elements and bright special effects will not leave anyone indifferent after this wonderful tour.

Most of the exhibits can be interacted with and photographed.

Duration of the tour: 1:10
The descent to the museum and ascent to the surface is carried out by stairs.
