Day of Remembrance and Sorrow

On June 22, 1941, one of the most terrible and tragic pages in the history of our country opened - the Great Patriotic War began.

This day every year reminds us of all the dead, tortured in fascist captivity, who died in the rear from hunger and deprivation.

It is on the Day of Memory and Sorrow that we Russians feel a special unity with each other and with our ancestors. Those who went to the front, who worked day and night, giving everything for victory. Who laid down his head for the sake of the future of his country, so that we could enjoy life and freedom.

We, the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren of the great heroes, are obliged to carry the memory of them, of their unparalleled feat through the centuries. We will not allow the crimes of Nazism to be forgotten and we will not allow such a thing to happen again!
