Tu-4 bomber

In our museum, you can see an interesting exhibit - a piston Soviet strategic bomber Tu-4, which was in service with the Soviet Air Force Soviet Air Force from 1949 to the early 1960s. The aircraft is a copy of the American B-29 bomber, reproduced method of reverse engineering.

On November 7, 1949, during the military parade, the first aircraft were shown, and the leading Tu-4 bomber was led by the Commander of the Air Force of the Moscow Military District, Lieutenant-General V.I. Stalin - the youngest son of I.V. Stalin.
